这几节经文描述和马太福音末世描述非常相像。朋友相卖，家人彼此不能相信。弥迦名字的本意就是＂谁是神＂，在末世一切的混乱和灾难当中，人不免问谁是神，神在哪里。
但是经文马上告诉我们：Micah 7:7 But I will keep watching for the LORD; I will wait for the God who delivers me. My God will hear my lament.
我的心等候神，胜似守夜的等候天亮！耶稣且在福音书中应许，为了选民的缘故，这些时候将会缩短（太22：24）。
